Project Overview

Our long-standing relationship with Four Seasons has given us the opportunity to work across many different parts of the brand, including one of its most personal: Four Seasons Private Residences. From welcome guides and ownership materials to concierge stationery, in-residence dining menus, and signage, we create the materials that support residents as they move from purchasing a Four Seasons residence to living in one.

The work requires a different understanding of the Four Seasons audience. These are not simply guests experiencing the brand for a few days, but homeowners bringing its service and standards into their everyday lives. Our role is to translate a brand we know deeply into this more permanent and personal context.

The Challenge

Four Seasons Private Residences bring together two ideas that need to coexist naturally: the intimacy of home and the standards of a global luxury brand. The materials need to provide practical information and support the day-to-day experience of ownership, without feeling overly operational or hotel-like.

At the same time, no two residences are the same. Architecture, interiors, destination, and resident profile all shape the experience differently. The challenge is to apply the Four Seasons brand consistently, and understand how it should adapt to feel at home within each residence.

Our Approach

Our familiarity with Four Seasons gives us a strong foundation, but understanding the master brand is only the starting point. Each residence is shaped by a different destination, developer vision, architectural and interior concept, and homeowner profile. Before we begin designing, we immerse ourselves in those decisions—understanding the thinking behind the property, who it has been created for, and how residents will ultimately live within it.

That context allows us to determine how Four Seasons should express itself differently from one residence to the next. The materials need to respond not only to the visual character of the property, but to the practical needs of ownership and the experience the developer and Four Seasons have set out to create.

Dubai Water Canal

At Four Seasons Private Residences Dubai at Water Canal, the interiors and architecture draw heavily on local materiality, craftsmanship, and geometric forms. We carried those cues into the collateral system through arabesque-inspired patterns, warmer tones, and tactile production details, creating materials that feel connected to the design of the residence rather than applied independently from it.

Los Angeles

Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles required a very different approach. With interiors by Martyn Lawrence Bullard and an architectural language defined by glass, concrete, and open space, the collateral was intentionally more restrained. Minimal layouts, understated typography, and a cooler palette allow the materials to sit quietly within the environment, reflecting the property's contemporary character while maintaining the standards of Four Seasons.

Outcome

The resulting work extends the Four Seasons experience from hospitality into ownership. Each piece supports the practical needs of residents while reinforcing the service, quality, and attention to detail they have come to expect.

As Four Seasons Private Residences continue to grow around the world, our familiarity with the brand allows us to adapt alongside them—creating expressions that respond to each property, place, and homeowner while remaining connected by the standards that define Four Seasons.
